trigonalB

A material with trigonal symmetry, with 6 independent elastic constants and two independent coefficients of thermal expansion. It represents the crystal symmetries (3 2), (3 m), and $(\bar 3 m)$.4.4It is the same as trigonalA with ${\sf c15}=0$. See figure 4.3, and also Sections 4.5.7 and 4.5.12.

Parameters

orientation
The orientation of the crystalline axes. See Section 4.3. [degrees]

elastic coefficients
The components of the stiffness matrix are specified by the values of c11, c12, c13, c14, c33, and c44. [stress]

thermal expansion coefficients
The three independent coefficients of thermal expansion are specified by alpha11 and alpha33. [inverse temperature]
