Variables

Typing the name of a variable prints its current value. Typing name = value sets the current value. Typing name =, omitting the value, makes OOF prompt you for a new value. As with Function arguments, hitting $\langle$return$\rangle$ without entering a value retains the old value.

tolerance = 1e-05
OOF >> tolerance = 1.e-6
OOF >> tolerance =
*Enter tolerance [1e-06]: 1.e-7
The last form is available only during interactive operation.
