Trace (MatrixTrace) — Trace of a symmetric tensor.
Synopsis
MatrixTrace()
Description
Trace is one of the Invariants
of a symmetric three dimensional rank 2 tensor quantity that can
be computed by the OOF2 Outputs.
The trace of a tensor is the sum of its diagonal entries. The
trace of the stress tensor is proportional to the hydrostatic
pressure, for example.
