Displacement is used by the following Properties:

Description

The values of the Displacement Field are usually found by solving the Force_Balance Equation. Its conjugate Flux is Stress.

The in-plane Displacement Field has two components, $u_{x}$ and $u_{y}$ . Its companion out-of-plane Field, Displacement_z, has three components, $\partial u_{z}/\partial x$ , $\partial u_{z}/\partial y$ , and $\partial u_{z}/\partial z$ .
