Description

The isotropic stress-free strain Property makes an additive contribution of

to the Stress, where $C_{ijkl}$ is the Material's elastic modulus, and ${ϵ}^0$ is a second rank symmetric tensor whose diagonal elements, ${ϵ}_{ii}^0$, are epsilon0 and whose off-diagonal elements are 0.

If the only contributions to the Stress are linear elasticity and stress-free strain, then the full Stress is

so ${ϵ}^0$ is the strain at which the Stress vanishes.
