Colleagues, We are setting up an OOF mailing list. In case you've forgotten, OOF and PPM2OOF are programs being developed at NIST for finite element analysis of materials microstructures. We believe that you indicated an interest in OOF and PPM2OOF. If you would NOT like to continue to receive news about updates, bugs, and documentation, then please let us know so we can take you off the list. You can write to the list by sending mail to oof@ctcms.nist.gov To add or remove names to the list, or to send a note about OOF that you don't wish to broadcast to everyone, send mail to oof_manager@ctcms.nist.gov The OOF home page is at http://www.ctcms.nist.gov/~wcraig/oof. There you can find * New X-windows based versions of the software, which work on both 24 and 8 bit displays (although 8 bits is a bit quirky). * A fairly complete but rough draft of the OOF manual. A manual for PPM2OOF is under construction. * A list of features which we expect to incorporate into the first official release, OOF 1.0. Please! Send us reprints, links and references to work you are doing with OOF. Also, if you would like to write us with shameless praise for our program, we'll happily forward it to our managers... Comments, suggestions, and bug reports will be very much appreciated! The OOF Team Craig Carter (craig.carter@nist.gov) Steve Langer (stephen.langer@nist.gov) Edwin Fuller (edwin.fuller@nist.gov)
