The ppm2oof tree

ppm2oof is organized as a tree of submenus. The following list describes that tree structure, the purpose of each menu, and gives the section where that Submenu and its Functions and Variables are described.

  • Main Menu: general controls and miscellaneous parameters

    • /graphics: graphics drawers

    • /select: pixel selection methods

      • /select/group: select a named group of pixels

      • /select/group_too: select a named groups of pixels, in addition to an existing selection

      • /select/intersect_group: select the intersection of a named group of pixels and the existing selection

      • /select/unselect_group: unselect a named group of pixels

      • /select/modify: modify the existing selection in various ways

    • /active_area: define active areas to which operations are restricted

      • /active_area/set: set the active area

      • /active_area/reduce: reduce the size of the active area

      • /active_area/expand: expand the size of the active area

      • /active_area/recall: recall a previously stored active area

    • /firewalls: create inflammable regions

    • /pixelgroups: manage groups of pixels

      • /pixelgroups/delete: delete a group

      • /pixelgroups/add: add pixels to a group

      • /pixelgroups/remove: remove pixels from a group

      • /pixelgroups/replace: replace pixels in a group

      • /pixelgroups/info: get information about a group

    • /materials: assign material properties to pixels

      • /materials/default: define a default material

    • /simple_mesh: create a simple finite element mesh

    • /adaptive_mesh: create a more sophisticated finite element mesh

      • /adaptive_mesh/groups: manage groups of triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/groups/select: select a named group of triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/groups/add: add selected triangles to a group

        • /adaptive_mesh/groups/subtract: remove selected triangles from a group

        • /adaptive_mesh/groups/info: print information about a group

        • /adaptive_mesh/groups/election_rules: set criteria for transferring pixel groups to triangles

      • /adaptive_mesh/materials: transfer material properties from pixels to triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/materials/set: explicitly set materials for selected triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/materials/election_rules: set criteria for transferring materials from pixels to triangles

      • /adaptive_mesh/refine: refine the finite element mesh

        • /adaptive_mesh/refine/group: refine a named group of triangles

      • /adaptive_mesh/select: select triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/select/group: select a named group of triangles

        • /adaptive_mesh/select/group_too: select a named group of triangles, in addition to the current selection
