HexagonalRank2Tensor(xx, zz)

Description

A HexagonalRank2Tensor is a symmetric second rank tensor with hexagonal rotational symmetry. The arguments xx and zz are real numbers. The structure is shown in Figure 6.123.

[Note] Note

The forms of the TetragonalRank2Tensor, HexagonalRank2Tensor, and TrigonalRank2Tensor are equivalent. OOF2 provides distinct classes for them so that the user interface can present the same symmetries for fourth rank properties (like elasticity) as for second rank properties (like thermal conductivity).
