3.17. Boundary Analysis

The Boundary Analysis Page integrates the normal components of fluxes over boundaries. This information can be used to compute the effective properties of materials. The page is simply a GUI for the OOF.Mesh.Boundary.Integrate_Flux command.

As shown in Figure 3.26, at the top of the page is a Mesh Chooser, consisting of a set of pull-down menus for choosing the Mesh (and its Skeleton and Microstructure) to analyze. Below that is the Parameter Pane, containing pull-down menus for choosing the parameters of the Integrate_Flux command. At the bottom of the page is the Destination Pane. It contains a pull-down menu for selecting where the data will go, and a Go button, which invokes OOF.Mesh.Boundary.Integrate_Flux and prints the result to the selected destination. The destination menu identical to its counterpart in the Analysis Page.
