Synopsis

In most circumstances, you probably want the elementgroups to be determined by the existing pixelgroups. It's possible (but difficult) to imagine situations in which you want previously chosen elementgroups to be preserved. This variable gives you that option. If true, when the groups are transferred to an element, they replace any previously assigned elementgroups for that element. If false, the previous groups are retained. Default: true
