Getting ppm2oof and System Requirements

OOF runs on Unix systems with the X-windows windowing system. OOF itself is written in C++ and uses the XForms, SparseLib++, and editline libraries. It has currently been compiled on SGI, Sun, DEC/Compaq, IBM, and Intel-x86 computers. The software should be portable to any Unix system running X-windows with a modern C++ compiler. The extant software ports happen to be compatible systems for which our kind users have requested support and is not to be construed as endorsement by the creators of the OOF software.
